Warm up your dancing legs and get ready for Festival International & The Eouffee Festival. Ride for Rox is an annual bike ride in celebration of the life of Roxanne Richard. This year, the ride will be held on the smooth roads of St. Landry Parish. Starting from downtown Lafayette.

2024 SCHEDULE OF EVENTS:

LOCATION: Parking lot at 314 Polk St., Lafayette, LA 70501

PARKING: Plenty of spaces around along the streets downtown Lafayette. Festival does not open for several hours. Some people have sold their parking spot after the bike ride.

STARTING TIMES: All rides start 8:00 AM. You can start and finish anytime you like, but please note that our awesome volunteers will be leaving the course by 1:00pm.

SAG STOPS: There are 2 SAG locations some routes will pass them twice. They will be on the maps.

RIDER SAFETY PLEDGE:

  1. If you have an emergency on the road, IMMEDIATELY call 911 and then the Support Team.

  2. Please ride safely and follow all traffic signs and signals.

  3. Please be courteous and respectful to other riders.

  4. Please ride in single file when a car or truck is behind you.

  5. Do NOT ride more than two abreast, in accordance with Louisiana law.

  6. Do NOT be a road hog. Yield to other riders trying to pass you.

  7. Ride as far to the right as is practical, except when making a left turn, or when going straight at a right turn only lane.

  8. Wear your helmet at ALL times while on your bike.

  9. Do NOT ride before daylight or after dusk without proper lighting.

  10. If you have to stop for any reason, please get completely off the road so you do not put other riders in danger.

  11. Do NOT remove or eat any road kill.
