Ride for Rox is an annual bike ride in celebration of the life of Roxanne Richard. This ride takes place the Sunday of Festival International de Louisiane. Routes start and finish in downtown Lafayette, the location of Festival International. Distances range 30 to 78 miles.
Bike Rentals available for those traveling to Lafayette or if your bike is in disrepair. Check out our discounted rental rates when you register.

Post Ride Feeding & Rehydration: Plenty of jambalya from Cafe 20.3, Coca-Cola products, Powerade and adult beverages from Schilling Distributing.
NOTE: Registration SWAG will include an official Friend of Festival pin from Festival International. These pins are one of the ways which helps Festival International to raise money and keep the festival free. Ride for Rox t-shirt and other merchandise from TRAIL is available for purchase.
- Helmets are required.
- Communicate you intentions to "STOP" or "TURNING" to your fellow riders
- Call out road hazards to warn your fellow riders
- Follow traffic laws, almost all the routes are on open roads.

Ride for Rox Family Ride 4 miles, with a SAG/Water Station at mile 1.5 and 2.5, beginning and ending in downtown Lafayette. The ride will be on open roads, roads with bike lanes and dedicated multi-purpose bike paths. Bike trailers, bike seats and kids bikes are welcome. If you have a child riding their own bike be sure they can average at least 8 mph for 4 miles.
If you want to ride the 4 mile loop multiple times please do so. The Sheriff escort will only roll for a single loop.

Ride for Rox Distance Rides: The roads are painted with orange arrows with an "R" on the tail. We will have rolling SAGs plus a stationary SAG 2 for the 30 mile ride, 3 for the 40 mile route, 5 for the 53 and 60 mile rides and 6 for the 78 mile ride.
